For the cooler months, and shoulder season there is nothing nicer than the warmth of an outdoor firepit. Especially when you have friends and family around to enjoy the crackle and flurry of the timber falling in the embers. You just need the find the right one.
There are so many amazing firepits, laser cut steel in the shape of a globe, spaces in pavements, concrete pits, firepits in decks, firepits for small spaces and caravans, as well as high-end fire pits by Robert Plumb.
When you are purchasing a fire pit, they can be a bit messy! Soot and embers will land on the ground so think about where you want to place the fire pit. If you are looking for a less messy fire pit, consider an ethanol fire pit. They are less rustic, and we’d recommend an ethanol fire pit for a modern, contemporary or resort style outdoor area. Faster to get them going too!
We’ve featured a range of simpler firepits which will work well with many different styles of gardens. Here are 10 of our favourites.
